Protexa Inspection Platform
A multi-role inspection platform for a Northern Nevada property protection company: offline-ready field inspections, automatic photo evidence, branded PDF reports, and a portal where clients see the health of every property they own.
The Story
Protexa protects vacant and unoccupied properties in Northern Nevada. Every visit produces evidence: photos, condition notes, timestamps, and locations. Inspectors need to capture it quickly in the field, supervisors need to review it before it goes out, and property owners need clear answers about what is happening at each address.
Off-the-shelf inspection apps either did too little or forced Protexa's process into someone else's workflow. They needed a platform built around how their team actually works, one that would also give their clients a professional, branded experience.
The Process
We built the platform on Laravel with four role-based portals, so every user sees exactly what they need. Admins manage accounts and properties, supervisors review and approve reports, inspectors work their assigned routes, and clients log in to see their own portfolio and download reports.
The inspector experience is designed for a phone in one hand. It works as a progressive web app that keeps working without a signal, saving inspections on the device and syncing them when the connection returns. Photo GPS coordinates and timestamps are read automatically from each image, so evidence is documented without extra typing. Properties appear on an interactive map, urgent findings can trigger text alerts, and an audit log records every change.

The Solution
Every inspection now follows one clean path: the inspector captures it in the field, a supervisor reviews and approves it, and the client receives a branded PDF report and an updated dashboard. Clients see a portfolio risk score, report trends, and a map of every property at a glance. Anything urgent is escalated to its own queue so it never gets buried.
Protexa owns the code and the data, and the platform runs on their own server. It turns a field service into a professional, documented product their clients can see and trust.
